The Baritone Tobias Joachim Neumann was born in Augsburg, Germany. At the age of 10 he was selected to join the renowned Regensburg boy's choir. After high school studies in Regensburg he studied vocal preformance at the Academy for Music and Performing Arts in Munich. His teachers included Maria de Francesca-Cavazza and Helmut Deutsch. He also participated in master classes with Thomas Quasthoff, Wolfram Rieger and Peter Schreier. Tobias works regularly with Germany's Singer of the Year Michael Volle. Since 2003 the baritone has been a member of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, Germany. The young singer is much sought after both as a soloist for large scale concerts and as a German Lied singer.
